Providing innovative services for our partners

We offer our partners crucial guidance, support, and expertise, enabling the development of a thriving Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS) ecosystem in the Northern Territory.

  • Working with partners to implement and operate UAS

Guide the uptake, implementation, and integration of UAS technology in emerging and traditional industries.

Work with manufacturers on prototyping and testing UAS and building technical capabilities.

Undertake research tailored to Australian industries and sectors to develop new capabilities in the UAS sector.

  • Connecting industries, sectors, and capabilities

Identify synergies between diverse industries and create awareness among our partners – for example, identifying opportunities for UAS sovereign capability in the defence sector.

Support industry partners in leveraging existing infrastructure, resources, and government incentives to develop UAS technology (for example, hydrogen initiatives).

Help industry partners to manage aviation compliance, regulation, and risk.

  • Providing needed education, training and workforce development

Build sovereign capability by working with industry and government to develop training and educational pathways that support the creation of a high-quality workforce in North Australia.

Provide training and upskilling for communities where these capabilities are most needed, such as Aboriginal and Indigenous land corporations and communities.

  • Supporting partners with regulatory needs

Support partners in achieving regulatory compliance and meeting necessary approvals.

Liaise with CASA to evolve the regulatory environment around UAS and align technologies.

Collaborate with government and policymakers to develop sustainable and consistent regulatory frameworks that foster a thriving drone industry.
